vanderhoof info please

hello , just need a general area, road, etc to head down for whitetail near vanderhoof , headed there to visit a friend and wanted to take her and her young son out Saturday am, just not familiar with the area at ll, no honey holes needed, just a general area I could take them for a drive and maybe get lucky :)

most of the decent deer hunting is on private land. Lots of logging north of town so you could check out the Barlow FSR or Blue Mtn FSR which loops around to Strigler Pit, both accessed off Hwy27 just 10 mins north of town. Someone hit a big WT with their truck a few years back on the Barlow just a few KM off the Hwy. good luck!
