Egg mixture for tanning deer hide

I'm wondering if anyone has had success using an egg solution to tan a deer hide. I have heard you use about one dozen eggs with a bit of olive oil...does that sounds right?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Tanning a hide with "eggs" does work for a deer hide.
Make sure you have some experience with tanning before you try this option though....
