how LEH affects your normal season

New guy question here, I've been doing some planning for next year and I couldn't find a answer in the regs, if I put in for mulie doe in for region 3 and get the tag and i harvest the doe. Can I still harvest a buck from region 3 or does the doe tag count as my 1 mulie from region 3?
Where in the regs does it answer my question?

you have to follow bag limits whether or not it is an leh tag

although if I read the the regs correctly you are allowed 2 mule deer in region 3, 1 buck

Page 17. You can take 1 antlered and 1 antlerless in reg 3.

but remember, theres no deer in region 3, so its really a moot point.
