I am wondering were does the region 2 boundaries and region 8 meet. And how do most determine were regional boundaries meet, with some degree of accuracy. as the regulation book seems pretty hard to figure. In the past I have just made sure that I am totally inside the region.

natural boundaries are often used ...ie rivers , height of land . Gps can be used if unsure .

I've always found the backroads map books to be pretty helpful. Far more detail than the boundary marks in the hunting regs.

Exactly...and I find them pretty clearly defined in the backroads mapbooks...

+1 I've bought all in all maps, LEH etc

when I hunt deep I download the topo map and makes moving around that much easier. However, GPS/Spot/InReach are always essential on far/extended trips.

I hunt a lot between region 8 and region 3 and have noticed that the boundaries are posted on the side of the road on forestry service roads as you pass between them. That applies to between zones in the region also such as from 8-8 to 8-11.

I use a combo of hunt buddy, pre-downloaded topo maps from the Canada Topography app, and back roads map book. Make sure you study the area you're hunting in and get to know the geography so that you're not guessing the boundary.
