go in the hills behind the private land. Private land is not always the answer, good chains for your tires and spending time looking, good luck, my nephew had the draw last year we were unsuccessful

300WSMImpact, last year I could have helped you. I was in the middle of a small heard just under the elevation boundary. I know they are there. I just don't want to limit my self to one area as they may not be there yet.
