Fir lake bc region 5

Did some hunting around fir lake outside of Williams lake. I didn't see 1 deer the whole time we hunted there? Seems strange as I've always had luck around meldrum and other spots... Has anyone had much luck out there yet? Or any bucks down in region 5-14?
i have two weeks off at end of November to hunt big Mulies should be fun!!!!😀

In 2008, we spent 5 days hunting Raven Lake area just south of Fir Lake. Moose and wolves with few if any deer. If you are looking to focus on deer hunt closer to the Fraser River and as you noted in the Meldrum Creek area. In more recent year, 2012 to 2014, we had some nice results closer to the Fraser River.

Hmmm lots of deer at Fir..last year crews got 4 bucks..this year 2 bucks..headed that direction for grouse rabbits and 4x4 deer myself..Mackay rd...

Srupp good to hear about bucks! Wasn't in right place right time I guess! I like the area lots of nice clear cuts and timber... Good news tho lots of grouse and rabbits out there!! I'll be around there in November and farewell canyon

Lots of does..bucks just starting to be active..find does...found a little honey hole..maybe 40 does in 1km x1km..
