Short story here. After sleeping in this morning I let my wife l
talk me into going out for a drive with the rifle in search of any buck or bear that we could fill our freezer with. Half an hour into our drive to a spot I wanted to check out I spotted this guy twenty or so yards in the thick timber and made the shot on him. He ran down a pretty steep hill and expired. That's the first buck my wife has been there to help me harvest and I am truly blessed with a magnificent woman. Not afraid to get her hands dirty. Anyways that's the story on my day. Pics hopefully to follow

Haha. Yeah I hear ya on the call out there. Truth is we have been out lots and not seeing anything at all so after sleeping in I was thinking about the massive chore list which isn't going to complete itself and the lack of sightings recently and was feeling pretty humdrum about the idea of burning more gas. I am glad she worked on me though and to be honest I didn't make her work very hard.

Your wife is a very good woman. She understands that you can't fill the freezer sitting on the couch. Good thing she got your lazy ass out there. Congrats (mostly to her).
