Not sure about the deer, but my buddy purchased the elk ones.
I think they are gimmicky IMO, as they have a "Incense" like smell.

I would save your money on this and not buy.
But, my same friend purchased some elk urine that was concentrated ( had to mix with water ) at wholesale a couple
of years back....

Now all I can say is that the cow moose with a calf and a bull on it rear, just wanted to come over to me, due to that scent,
she could tell I wasn't a moose...but that damn scent really played with her thoughts...so in that case, that urine/water
combo probably does work.

Another friend did have a bottle of buck urine spill in his pant pocket one trip...all of it...
Anyways, sitting out in the middle of cutblock, observing a bull moose on the fringes of the block,
he was suddenly charged by a really nice mule deer buck...came in to 10 ft.
So, some things work, and I think better than those sticks IMO.

they definitely work.
but like anything, only if there are animals in the area.
and use the right ones, deer-sense brand have always been the best for me.
and early season i use curiosity scent, time to change to a rut scent now.

They work. If deer smell them they come in. I have never had deer come in while hunting with scents but when I come back a day or so later the area I used them in is always scraped up by deer.
