I was wondering if there is anyone that is willing to be a mentor to me, show me the ropes and possibly tag along on a hunting trip. I am 23 years old and live in Langley. I have an 8mm Mauser to hunt big game and 12ga and .22 for ducks and upland birds. Just went out for the morning to practice with a compass and brought my .22 with me just in case of grouse and 2 of them ran across my path and I tried to follow but had no idea where either of them went. It was still really exciting to even have a chance at getting one. I am currently open for any weekends for the end of october and november. I am looking to hunt mule deer for my first season.
