hello everyone
it has been a wile since all I did was work but now I'm laid off so after trying to goat hunt for a few years with no time I finally got out left at 4 am cut my way up and drove a old spur road as far as I could hiked another 3 hours had a goat at 40 yards I took my savage 270 win well its the second savage that has let me down the clip was messed up and did not feed right by the time I got one chambered the Billy was gone. never so frustrated....plan to head back up with my wheatherby sold the savage today I will never buy another one just junk imo. I stop counting grouse at 28 on the hike will get pics up soon

Took 4 years to find one in range hopfully next week I'll get back up there.

Hope the lucky bugger that bought your savage isn't an HBC member ;)

I did research on the savage and the clips require bending and modify to much monkeying on around for me prefer the wheatherby anyway. Pretty heart broken with that scenario.
