Finally got my buck

[hoochie]

Hunting with my wife, she spotted 2 does going from a FSR into this cut up a hill. We walk in the area and cant seem to find them. I start to get a bit frustrated, and we start talking louder. "Well where in the heck did they go? They cant just disappear!"
A little more crashing and calling back and forth to each other. I said " ok screw it, lets get outta here and walk down the other way.."
Then I look back over my shoulder one last time and see a couple deer broadside.
I call back to my wife " HEY.. DONT MAKE ANY NOISE.. I SEE A COUPLE DEER.. HANG ON A MINUTE"
Almost certain my voice was echoing all the way into town.... holy moly. Then, there comes this guy. casually walking along, not concerned with the cracking of branches, or our loud talking. I watched him a for a couple minutes, making sure I could take a good shot on him.
He was only about 75 yards away, so I really though carefully about shot placement. I decided to shoot him in the neck. Glad I did.
Went back to the truck, let my dog out to be an extra set of eyes.. cleaned him up and off to the butcher!

Nice whitie, love how the main beams come right around almost touching at the front. About 4 times as big as my biggest whitetail..... Good job!
