Hunting in 7-16 and 7-23 today.

Just waiting for my ride ...and we are off to find our Moose. No LEH but being over 65 both spike/fork and calves are eligible. About a 90 minute drive to this area, have a cabin nearby but not stopping there. On Tuesday, have a friend who has some property near Saxton lake where there have been a lot of deer sighting ...so going with him for deer (he doesn't hunt, just going to guide).

Well, covered a lot of territory in 716B and 716C ...not a sign of any Moose. No tracks no Moose turds ...nothing. Ran in to several hunter's camps but didn't stop to talk with them so not sure what sort of success they may have had. Off to try for deer in a different local on Tuesday.
