CBC (The Nature of Things) is having a one hour show about moose tonight 8:00pm. Might be interesting.

Yep if it's CBC there will be some point in the show where they start playing ominous music and taking about how hunting is decimating moose populations.

So don't watch it. That way you can possibly remain uninformed.

I think they'll also mention how wolves are a big problem when it comes to the calf moose trying to survive it's first year of life..

I'll watch it with my volume up thanks

I'll keep a close eye out for "next years model."

My wife has been missing a week now. The police said to prepare for the worst. So, I went down to Goodwill to get all of her clothes back.

Thanks Chango, great link for those without cable. I just about fell off my chair when I saw who introduces the program. Should have known.

You will like it, very minimal Suzuki and it shows a little of what wolves are up to.

DZ doesn't bother me. Was thinking how it would get some others hackles up. It's a great program. Park bench in the foreground at about the 22 min mark.

Well worth the watch, thanks for posting.

Tugs a little at the heart strings seeing as though I'm in the midst of my Cow Moose LEH.

Watching now......lots of different shots of "the" cow and calf which are different pairs. He stated early about the scar....watch the aquatic vegetation portion and she does not have a scar. Tough to tell in a few angles but definitely a different cow.

Look forward to getting my Dad's opinion who is a pretty well known moose biologist.

16 minutes in right now.....look forward to seeing the rest.

Interesting that wolves don't need roads and cutblocks to find moose.........

I enjoyed the show; the anthropomorphism was a little nauseating but to be expected. What I did have a problem with was there must of been at least 8 different moose claiming to be 2. The colour patterns kept changing, one was a young bull, and like was mentioned scar/no scar. Oh well. Still way better than 99% of the stuff on tonight.

Always refreshing to watch a 'nature' show compared to the rest of the crap on tv these days.....I would take a show like that anytime over the election BS!

Glad to see Suzuki was only on for a 20 second clip......

I really enjoyed it. No typical DS stuff and awesome videography!
