It's my first year hunting and damn is it ever addicting, got my first deer last week. I have a few weeks off work and I want to get a moose. I was going to concentrate my efforts in 3-15,3-17 mainly because I am familiar with it and have seen moose sign and heard of moose being harvested in the area. All the moose sign I have seen hasn't been in what I would consider swampy, moose territory, its been up high with no swamps in sight, why is this? Another thing I am wondering is everything I have read is geared towards harvesting bigger bulls, would my tactics be different if I am looking for an immature bull?
