Ran into this guy last weekend just outside Coalmont Tulameen area. Bold as can be and not really concerned that we got out and grabbed the camera. was about 40 yards.

yes, a tag we never think about but they don't open until Nov. 15th

It's not disconcerting till they get on their belly and start crawling towards you, even when you are yelling at them!
Then it's time to take the safety off! :)

Cougar open in September in 1 and 2 and I would suspect you must be somewhere else judging from all that pine.
