325 yards. Shot went into the chest, pierced a lung, then went up and exited the back breaking the spine in the process. He was a heavy *******!

I believe there are 2 different kinds of muleys in this area. We have shot 4x4 mule deer in the area that are huge bodied and some that are average size. Nothing in between. Either huge or average. Nice buck Drache

Normally I wouldn't either. I do spend a lot of time bench rest shooting, but still try to move in to within 200 yards when hunting. This time I made a snap decision and took the shot standing.

For the past 3 years I've taken 3x3 bucks. What is neat is they are slowly getting bigger in body and thicker antlers each time, yet all have the same amount of tines.
