Region 8 whitetail anyone?

Have the next while off work and am itchy to try my luck at finding a whitetail. I would be a virgin to whitetails and new to hunting the area. Not looking for a freebie, you can be just as clueless as I am - just like company. Pretty much thinking about just picking an area and starting to hike. Send me a PM.

I tried up in Princeton with no luck. Them I headed over to tulameen-coke connector with no luck. 15 mulie does but no bucks. I'd love a whitetail doe for the freezer this year but not too sure where to look, I'm from Langley and i don't mind a good long drive. Normally I hunt near rock creek but with the big burn I doubt it will produce a freezer filler.

Will be heading up Stemwinder Thursday for a few days camping out and hiking the hills. Hope to find a Whitey to fill the freezer. Will be my first time in the area so fingers crossed.
