Opinions on this Bear...

I have never shot a bear but its on my list...Have come across this guy a few times but just haven't been able to get a shot...So from the bear side of things how would you rate him? Looking to get a rug done and meat will be sausages etc..Hoping to come across him again this week...he has destroyed 3 cameras of mine so far this fall...

Dead the first chance I got. Rug will only be truly determined once it's dead, the meat on the other hand will be tasty!! Besides, he hurt your cams LOL

Very nice bear, like you said, if anything I'd shoot him for revenge..I'm guessing he's male just because of his large skull and the space between his ears..I'd get a buddy covering your back then pred call him in, I would think that's the most sure fire way to get him, but be careful!!

It ain't no pumpkin head but he will be good sausage material. Might be better to watch for him in the spring. If you are seeing him frequently, chances are he will den up somewhere close.

Nice bear. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Need some lard for the moose sausage project I've got going! It's also be a great excuse to get a smoker for hams :-)

Ears still coming off the top of the head, not the side. Would put some sausages in the freezer for sure though. Wouldn't rug him.
