I am thinking of trying area 8-3, 8-4 and 6-5 for Anterless whitetail next week. I am wondering if it worth it to try there or move further East along Hwy3.
What is the Whitetail population like in that area?
Just curious.

I'm assuming you meant "8-5" as your third choice??

If so, I'd head just a bit more east....

I'd suggest 8 -7 and the areas South and East of Princeton ( 8 - 4 ). Last year saw lots in 8 -7 but alas they were all on private lands.
I know of two WT's taken in 8 -5 recently but few and far between.
I'll be out and about in 8 -5 this weekend with a side trip to the Princeton area maybe Sunday.

Im in 8-4 right now. I've NEVER seen a Whitetail here in all the years I've hunted here. Maybe they're here, but I've never seen one.

Hunted 8-4 and 8-5 extensively this season, seen two whitetail does and that's it. They were also going about 90mph.. Better off heading further up the crowsnest. Or go to the liquor store parking lot in grand forks with a bow. Lol.
