Hi, I'm hoping to get a GSP in the next couple years. It's been a dream for a while, but need to move somewhere with a big yard first. I'm really keen to go out for pheasant with someone experienced in training/hunting with pointers. I'd like to learn a thing or 2 before I talk to breeders and know a little bit more about what to expect for training.

Go talk to Larry Fisher at fisher's hardware. Tell him I sent you. You could also contact Wolfe Byer has some of the sexiest pointers I have ever seen. But they both will point you in the right direction for bird hunting and trainers etc.
