Any moose around 4-02?

I plan to head out for elk and moose next week to 4-02 in the grassmere, elko area. Curious if I should bring a moose tag and expect to see any?
they are open for spike forks in that kootenay MU.

curious of any sightings in the area or general population info?

Never been there before, but if there is a season open, they are there. Better to bring a tag, because you never know.

I have not been there in many years but never did see one near Grasmere or Elko in the main river valley. You get into some of the river drainages (flathead, etc.) and then we saw some moose.
