New Hunter

I am taking a new hunter out for her first hunt later in Oct and am looking for some help in finding some white tail does in the Kamloops area. Not looking for anyone's honey hole but just some general areas to look. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've found some of the better WT hunting is close to farms and ranches, not to high, and try to hunt public land where it borders alpha fields. What would be great is if you could find a rancher who will allow you to hunt his range land, and I find early morning or a bit later in the evenings is best for seeing them. And, WT are more skittish than mule deer, so when you spot them, get ready to fire, quick. If you can't decide, or find a area to hunt in a week or so, PM me and I'll let you know if were seeing many around here, and maybe I could steer you and your new hunter in the right direction.
