Not able to sleep again last night, so while I was laying there I heard the first flocks of Snow's flying over Surrey. From 1:30am to 5:30am when I left for work, I herd 5 flocks!

But ...... do you EVER get a chance to hunt them here ?? the odd time in Ladner or foreshore ..........

Sure do wish there was more opportunity around here. In the mean time I shoot my Snows in Saskabush. 20 per day + no Possession limit, 30 per day in spring I believe.

Good luck calling them down from 5000 feet up.

I know guys who do REALLY well in the LML for snows. NO reason to go all the way across the country to shoot them.

Very true Lorne we get a few in Ladner but it's nothing like the sky being blotted out with them. Just on our way home from a week there. It takes forever to set 1100 deeks though.

I personally cant wait, if only I had about 50 decoys now :( The reality is that the LML geese read the hunting regs too and beyond the first three days of opening you really cant get em without decoys. Or I should say I haven't had any success. Plenty of duck though.
