Hike in a couple hours, find a big one and shoot it.

Its pretty simple.

Congrats on drawing on of BC's most coveted tags. Goat population is good and billies grow quickly in there. Make sure you take your time and look at lots of goats before deciding to pull the trigger. I've sent you a pm. Feel free to call me anytime.

So you're the guy I'll be competing with. I got the other draw in there this year. Coach if you're giving some insight, I'd like to hear what you have to say as well.

I hear there are no goats in there this year, might as well eat our tags. ;)

wow..if that area is so good why is there only 2 tags

Okanagan 8-09 B Sept 1-Sept 30 Ram only 2 195.5:1

and maybe you two need to get together ...if not to hunt then to pick some lotto 6/49 numbers

knockturnal

It's the goat draw, not sheep. But still, the odds were over 200/1. Maybe we should all go in at once and hammer 2!

The Goat draw was 219:1 odds this year. When LEHs were available and I saw that I got the goat, I bought a lotto ticket...long story short, I'm still at my day job. :/

Central Okanagan 8-09 A** Sept 20-Oct 31 Adult only 2 187.0:1 whoops scrolled down instead of across to the next column in the electronic version...thx

That is the draw I want bad. I watch them from my house all the time. They are not hard to find and I have run into some nice ones over there. Pm me and I will give you some info but I'm heading out on he 10th for a week and a half so anything after that I won't be able to respond.

Went out Saturday with Knockturnal and Coach. They kicked my butt and almost broke me hiking through the park. I quickly realized that I'm not nearly in as good of shape as I thought I was, but I tried not to complain and push through and keep up.

Saw a bunch of goats, no point double posting Coach's pictures, so I'll link to them here. I didn't pull the trigger on anything, but learned a lot. Big thanks to Coach and Knockturnal for making this happen, and taking me under your wings. Hopefully next time we'll find that big billy that's hiding out on those hills.

I would suggest having a look further south for a big billie next time if you get the chance. Will PM you with some info.

Need to keep a heads up for people throwing rocks from above. Just my opinion.

There's a certain someone that thinks that they own the park and he doesn't like people shooting his animals. He's been known to throw rocks at the animals to try scare them off when he sees resident hunters trying to put a stalk on them.

If he throws them at people, or endangers people that can have some serious legal consequences, both penal and civil.
