moose calling change up

Hmmm so after decades of moose calling..going to try a change up...used my voice and a few years made a birchbark horns for calling.
This year going to add..a fibreglass moose horn for calling.
I got the KC..Ken Capling magnum calling horn.Am impressed with the resonance. .and the increased sound..volume.i guess when KC was the world champion moose caller this was one of the finishing touches .
But then I guess its not weather I like it...and I do..but will bullwinkle..?
Should know in the next 16 days.
The tone really has a deep realistic amplification that should only help.

All the moose calls I've heard. (Including mine) sound nothing like a real cow moose. They are loud and make the strangest noises. But my call seems to fool the bulls. And that's all that matters.

Hmm been fooling moose with voice for decades..this just helps with tone..volume.

Fill it up with water and let it trickle through your hand into the swamp when you're getting answers. The Bulls go crazy over a pissing cow.. But I'm sure you know that already

Hmmm first morning..45 minutes bull answered..45 minutes later he was at 45 yards..then dead..over 1,000 pound weight..will post story photos soon..
Off to van for retirement dinner then butcher a moose in cooler.

Hmm yes moose that did not become pregnant will go into second estrus. .
KC can be obtained at Cabelas..mine is the 22 inch magnum model.

Wow Steven, apparently I need you and your new calling horn to help me fill my LEH.

8 days of my draw left, have covered lots of ground in a decent area of my zone for moose, with minimal fresh sign and only had one response to any of my crappy calling, which was soon lost thanks to a swirl of wind drifting my scent to him. No moose sighted yet.

Hmmm bulls are still searching for cows. .heard the real deal cow moose calling just 24 hours ago..seen bull moose tracks also...know of 11 bulls harvested in past week..
Been perfect weather cold. .calm mornings..contrary to some you simply cant call too loud...every 15 minutes by the watch..answer bulls promptly. .also lots of bears dropping land mines of biblical proportions..hmmm one camp 4 bulls..another 3 bulls.
We only had the one guys tag..may get out with another ?
I honestly believe the KC let me reach out and it took the bull 45 minutes to reach us once he responded..however he came in stealth mode..just there..
Still be responding to calls for next 10 days..thats moose hunting for October..calling..the rut started as usual. .Sept 26..

Hmm lots of ground..sign is nice..but let them find you..hence calling..we only saw 2 moose..but when T shot his bull it was only morning on day one..Oct 1 so we switched to bear, deer, wolf..

Hmmm lol hey all I did was homework..and calling Mr. T did the one shot at 40...45 yards..strange how the 260 gr in 375 h&h got the job done.Terence first moose..I am sure it was a education..

Steven, you can make that 12 Bulls. Hit the blind at 7 40 am Oct 3rd and as we were getting settled in I picked up the sounds of a rutting bull. 45 seconds later it came right out ! 460 pound 5 x 5 bull. As the field dressing got under way several more grunts were heard . A great morning it was! 5-2A We never called , never had a chance as he was right there and vocal.

Fly out in a few hours for thank you ceremony after 38 years Paramedic..then home to butcher the moose..one of the largest bulls..1000..1100 pounds.honest pounds..then deer maybe second moose..

Moose rut kicked in here in the North Peace Oct 04. Prior to that was very quiet but the morning of the fourth, the bulls came alive. Tracks everywhere and saw a huge bull with a cow at work. Other op's on the radio all reporting moose sightings. It's on. I had a bull answering after I shut off the quad (at work) Just cupped hands and doing cow moans. Love it :)

Bulls in Region 3 are rutting hard! Me and my kid brother killed our bulls in two days. Called this fella in from over a kilometer! Had a bigger bull walking around us calling while we gutted one of our bulls.
