:?::?: Does anyone on the site know how to synchronize two Delorme InReach SE units? We'd like to use these new units this Sunday (Sept. 27/15).

you need to go the delorme Canada website. set up an account. then follow the links to sync your units.
its not fast or well laid out but if you take your time it will get there.
ps. if your syncing your delormes and plan to use them paired with a smart phone. plan to update your phone to the newest operating platform. and then download the inreach app onto your phone.
if you don't your gonna have some glitches.

I just did this last week.

Create account at http://www.inreachcanada.com/
- from this site you can create contacts and preset messages that will later be synced to the inReach device

Go to sync page https://explore.delorme.com/Sync

Install the Sync software for your computer (link on the page)

After the software is installed you connect your inreach via USB to computer and you can sync.
- it is a good idea to ensure the firmware is updated to the latest version - this will be done through the sync. I believe the previous comment on newest operating platform is referring to the firmware.

The next (optional) step is to install the Earthmate app (apple/Android) that allows you to type your messages on the phone to send via the inreach.
