Ive had ok luck up helmer road exit. seen some good mules and shot a small whitey there last year. lots of hunters there drivin the road, but big country, plenty of room, and even more if you wanna put the boots to the ground. not my honey hole for the area, but have had regular success there. good luck. pm if you want, will be heading up there throughout october and might have a couple more spots to share

Have hunted in Region 3 for years. Know some good areas. Scouted in August, first trip out tomorrow. Advise find a logging road head up, find a spur with good habitat and start walking. In late November depending on which MU you going to you may need chains if snows have come hard. Good luck to you.

Late Nov would be optimum time for the muley kind. The deer have gone under 4000 feet and have herded up. Might be some fresh snow from the night before. Reg 3 has everything to offer to the Fraser Valley Weekend Warriors, or the hunters, " Upon the Rock". Coming up the Coq5 full boar, throwing snow dust and blowin blue, or towards Spence's Bridge, beyond Hope on the Trans Canucksville Hwy 1, to fill the fridge. Spence's Bridge, and onward on the 1.
Either way is muley and whitetail playday after payday. You got country as near as Anderson Creek on the Number 1, jus past Hope or by Blue Lake or orr, Exit 256 on the Coq5 coming alive and no need to drive just 55, You can't drive fifty five. From Hope to Kammy a double whammy. Look for the sign that says, Brookmere --> Exit 256 < -- turn to the Murray Lake side and take a gander. Or go towards Brookmere side it goes into Reg 8. Check all reg's first for MU Boundaries and see where the Reg 3 turns to Reg 8 and you could hunt accordingly.
Late season snows or no snow? Have 4 wheel with good tires and chains etc ready if needed.
Hunting would be good either road hunting or hiking, if snow, try tracking a fresh buck track.
