are there any meat lockers in mission abbotsford area that will hang game without doing the butchering? I plan on doing my own butchering but will need a cooler to hang it in for a few days prior. I checked dressed to grill in mission but they will only hang meat if they are doing the cutting.

I think a lot of us that home-butcher would like that service. I figured out a way to keep a deer cool in an upright deep freeze by having a timer turning it on at its warmest setting for 15 minutes every 2 1/2 hours but there's no way I could fit more than 1/6 of a moose in there.

I put an a/c unit in my downstairs bathroom. It gets pretty cold

You will be hard pressed finding a place to hang. I've debated offering up my cooler, but is it worth the hassle......
Here is Steeleco's list.

There was a guy near Harris and bell rd in abbotsford that had a meat cooler for rent. Near where Weymouth used to be.

Page creek is still there, I went by there after a range visit. They are on the list, but I'd call them to ask how much and such. For a few bucks if you've the space you can do this

I was looking at this device last year which will essentially 'hack' an old air conditioner into provide enough cooling to turn a small room or garden shed into a meat locker. It obviously requires you to do some prep on the room such as insulating and sealing doors and windows but there are a few interesting examples of how effective this can be if you want to google them.

Another thing you could consider is buying a full sized stand up fridge. That's what I did, and then just drilled a few hooks through the roof of the fridge. It's way cheaper than buying the coolbot, polystyrene insulation etc.

I'm sure page Creek would do it, he's a really good guy! But it might depend on how full his cooler is at the time..
