The combination of bad weather and grizzlies translates into no billies down for me and my crew. Really sucks living 12 hours away from good goat country . . . back in 2016!

I'm holding out on my goat write up for a little while... maybe save it for the off season lol
Got shut down South of Carpenter Lake Goat hunt, heavy rains on Sunday caused mudslides along the highway which we were able to get by but there was a huge mudslide 1 km before our turn off on the FSR. Spent the night up by Lost lake and in the morning tried to access from W side of range with the quad and did a big cirlcle route by Kingdom lake and back around to the truck, finally found the trail but spent most of the day cutting the blowdown across the trail only to hit a rock slide, could have hiked from there but weren't sure how far we had left to access the treeline, and we were short on time..... Anyone else have this draw send me a PM. This was for 3-33 F area. Also didn't see any goats from areas where we could glass.
Wont need the Pivotal head mount rack at this time . :???:

Heading to 3-33E Next week hopefully we can get the weather to cooperate and a Goat on the ground. It'll be my first Goat hunt, any tips appreciated.
Cheers
Mike
I'll be heading to 4-25D in October. Like most of us, work won't let me get out nearly as often as I'd like. However, I've been doing a bunch of research and I've managed to narrow it down to two areas that I'm hoping will be successful (and that I think I should be able to cover in the amount of time I have). It's one of my first years hunting, and my first goat hunt ever so hopefully beginner's luck is on my side!
If you're generous enough to share any info PM me. I'll tell you what drainage basins/areas I'm planning on hunting and you can let me know if I'm on the right track.
Good luck everyone!
