Tough Buck.......

Just got these pics from my Dad and I have no idea where they are from, but it just shows how tough these animals can be. Notice in the first pic the lump on his nose underneath the eye.

I am thinking it must have been. I would assume an antler from a buck in the rut is the only thing that is going to be solid enough to penetrate like that not to mention the tine looks pretty clean. Which may be from cleaning the skull.....who knows?

Unless that is the middle finger from a passing motorist who almost hit the deer?? :wink: :razz:

That was one tough buck. I don't know how many of us can break a tine with both hands? Or the motorist's finger ended up at the wrong spot on the body of the buck?:eek:
