I don't need any honey-holes or specific areas, I just wanna go for a hike in a cool-looking area in region 8-07 tomorrow, but I'm going to be pulling out the elk calls and focusing on elk rather than deer, do I have much hope in that general area?? Thanks to all in advance....

Reg 8 elk spots are a closely guarded sercret. Took me four years to find my spot

8-12 and 8-14. Lots of elk rubs. Where is 8-07 ?

If it doesn't pan out there are plenty of deer. If there is an open season there there must be some.

The closer you get to the Princeton drainages, the more elk there are.
Remember, just because they opened 6pt elk in all of region 8 doesn't mean you will see any.

swing a dead cat around and where ever it lands there will be elk , that's how we find them? their everywhere

8-07 is probably your BEST bet to find a screamin' 6 point, Harry.

If anything I'm sure you can get a laugh at calling in another hunter
