Disabled veteran seeks a companion dog

A friend of mine is a disabled veteran with severe PTSD. He has been trying to find a Lab or Lab cross but cannot afford to buy one. Rescue dogs, SPCA have had nothing of interest to him. He has been a dog guy his whole life and lost his beloved lab, Daisy a couple of years ago. If anyone knows of a basic obedience trained dog looking for a loving home please PM me and I will pass on the info. Thanks

Wish I could help. We have a 6 yr great pyrennes cross named Daisy, but she is a barker. Not working out great in town now. A sweet heart, but outside she barks all the time to keep the yard "safe". Sleeps inside though.

Has he found a dog? I have a friend with a 3 year old yellow lab, that due to some pretty massive health problems, my buddy is considering rehoming him. He is a very much lap dog, house dog. Needs to be with someone ALL the time.
