Watched plenty of them in 4-29 on my spring griz hunt. They're up there! The cliffs I saw them on we're all but inaccessible...

They are (or are planning) on pulling the bridge over the Duncan that accesses the Westfall. Never hunted up there in the fall so don't know what the river is like to cross then. In the spring it's not much of an option.

Buddy and I took our first Billy's out of 4-27 years ago. Used to camp just across westfall bridge, 4-28. From that campsite beside river glass upstream into the saddle on left. Littered with goats, often thought a guy could hike the old growth ridge all the way to it. Have to spend the night or two but I'd bet it's not too bad. Super rugged country but we had some good luck back there and a pile of fun. Like SSS said plans to deactivate access into there. Too bad.

Those pics are pushin 16-18 years back. 4-29 if I recall. More grizz than goats in that country. Tried for grizz draw for years. I miss them mountains
