Hey everyone,
So it turns out that the 1 of the 2 men that were mauled by a grizzly up towards Fort Nelson is a coworker and friend of mine. Chris is a paramedic in Fort St John that I worked with for nearly 3 years and also went to school with. Chris is a very experienced hunter and avid outdoorsman. Luckily Chris and his partner were saved due to the functionality of their SPOT device where they were able to communicate with his wife and his unit chief in Fort St John. Unfortunately due to the way BCAS works, he is part time. He is now without wage and is down here in Vancouver starting his long road to recovery. I am hoping that as fellow hunters you guys and gals are able to help out and donate towards his recovery.
