View Full Version : Hunting in Armstrong ???

I have family that has moved to Armstrong so I thought I would visit them in the middle of Oct. was wondering if anyone had any info on where to go hunting.
I will be hunting for whitetail and elk if that is possible. any help will be much appreciated.

Lots of farmland around armstrong..get known some farmers. it will help..another area close by is lumby..get back country map..and shoot some big bad wolf.or jogy bear..they are around..:wink:

I'd say poke around the back roads to Mabel Lake/Lumby like said. Scarce on the Elk but immature moose is better eating anyway:)

most of the animals in Armstrong I have seen have been downtown by the A&W or on the golf coarse...good luck!

Head up to Silverstone the take Abbott Rd off the switchback. That takes you up the mountain east of armstrong.

WT, head out to Mable Lake or Westside rd. A few showing up here but not many. Smith rd Falkland too. Lots of Mulies around. PM me.
