I'm looking to try my hand at hunting bighorns in the EK this year. I would appreciate any info. as to were I should go, specifically the locations of any honeyholes, where I will be the only hunter surrounded by several massive rams.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I like to lean over the hood of my truck when shooting

^If you mount the weapon to the hood of the vehicle there is less felt recoil.

C'mon, you guys are making it seem like it's a lost cause for poor 325. It's not like there are more guides than full-curl rams... it must be at least be at least 1:1.

325, you just need to learn the sheeps' names and from there you should just be able to call for them.

Should of asked a week or 2 ago could have giving some info, you wouldn't of been the only one in the area but if you went in a few days early and were in the right spot odds would have been good.

They sell a book that tells you all the spots. Its right beside the grouse tags at WSS.

Pick a rock on the edge of a coal mine. Stand there day after day. Shoot ram as back foot crosses onto crown land. If short crank horns.....

I'm just heading off the mountain now didn't see a soul just game. There's a half dozen big guys up there but they're pretty old so the horns are pretty worn on some, hope you don't mind that. I'll email a file with my gps route. What the hey might as well flag the trail on my way out just to make sure. Is orange ribbon OK? I've got blue too. ..

Holy smokes GG, just went through a bunch of that info. Never really realized just how many squeaker rams the Guides are shooting and putting on their websites. I don't know if there is a true cranker on any of the pages. WOW.

The stones seem to have a lot more brooming than any of those bighorns.

You get the big ones in downtown radium hot springs in November.

"Yeah, I like to lean over the hood of my truck when shooting"

That's lame, and not even sporting. What you need to do is shoot off hand, left handed, from the driver's seat, through the rear window.

And, no, you can't use ear protection!

You can open the window, though. That's allowed.

Extra points if the truck is still moving right?

Only if you are the driver, your foot is still on the gas and your passenger is steering. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair chase.
