Buddy sent me a pic of a huge elk shot near tumbler this morning said it was shot this morning. Wonder if anyone herd ? Ill try and find out guy in pic and see if I can post pic

Was it this high fenced one? Maybe the story was the guy was standing in tumbler, and the bull was across the line when he took the pic?

When you shoot a animal that big why stand so far back to make it look like a mutant. Would look better without the trick photography

I heard that guy is actually a midget and the elk was average size

The funny thing is I notced the nice rack, not even its size, then I noticed how gigantic the rifle looks when compared to the guy. Haha.

just think ....... We too as BC residents can bag real trophys like this ....... If we only had fenced farm hunts ......
soon on to come if this BC Liberal Gov. Keeps selling off to foreign investors. I hope the guy is proud of his Fenced hunt.

Too bad the dude didn't take a few more steps back. He would have been in the bush and the pic would have turned out real nice!

I saw a picture of one shot near Chetwynd while I was at the IPE in Armstrong, the butcher scale weight was 708 lbs, I was impressed. Fair chase hunt and
no fences or guides!
