Bear, Wolf and Cougar Rug Costs?

Just trying to get an idea from folks on the site that have had either Bear, Wolf or Cougar Rugs w/ head done recently.
Curious to know what people are paying to get them done.
Obviously Bear goes by " the foot " so that is a factor in the price, as well as " if the head is attached or not".
Trying to decide whether a tag is in order for this upcoming season, and if getting a rug is affordable enough or out of price for me.

I think for a 6 foot bear is about 1500

Mine have all been under 1k. Open mouth rugs with 2 layers of felt and the backing. Grizz, Black, wolves.

I greyhound them frozen in a cooler to Saskatchewan and pick them up during gopher season.

Tanned bears over 6 feet was around 600-700. Add eyes, tounge, felt, and work around $1000. I paid $2500 for my full size mount cougar

Around here bear rugs, with double layer of felt + denim backing, open mouth, claws attached, goes for about $150 per linear foot. Then skull is usually like another $75 I think if you want that done professionally. Some of the prices I'm seeing here other guys are paying seem absurd?

If people also don't mind saying where they had the work done, would also help.
I appreciate people giving honest answers, as I know some folks wish not to say anything about what they spend "money" wise.

Hmmm its like a haircut...your not paying for what gets removed..its whats leftover..
Good ones are worth it..I had one that sucked..the rest are awesome..prices were comparable.

Who does it for $100 a foot? The one I got done for $150 a foot, took for ever, but am very pleased with the quality, the guy has been around a long time and is always super busy and came recommended by others...
