7-23C moose

Hi all.

After a 4 year break we drew an LEH for 7-23C for moose. I was hoping one or more here might be able to give me some tips on where we might set up camp. I'm not asking for spots to hunt, but of course, I'm always open to what someone might like to offer. Our shelter is 12 X 20 so it takes a pretty good sized spot. We were thinking the southern drainage would be our best bet but are open to think about other ideas to set up. Nearby water is preferred.

We'll go in blind if needed but any and all help is appreciated.

I hunted there last year, and just about got pounced on by a grizz sow and her two cubs. They came into my cow moose call, and charged me as soon as she saw me. I won't ever hunt that area alone, again. Please be careful.

Thanks for the heads up triple7. I know we'll need to keep our heads on a swivel. It's been a busy year for griz encounters and I don't want to be in the news.

We had a shared hunt in there about 5 or 6 years ago holly crap there were a lot of G bear.Be careful. PS we got a moose.
