Hunting season for 'yotes doesn't open until Sept 1 in my area, but there's a pretty decent pack of them yapping on the other side of my fence every night. What's the law regarding protecting livestock if they end up on the wrong side of the fence and start after my alpacas, goat or chickens?

Youre legally allowed to kill them in order to protect livestock.

You have to report it after though.

Check for ant local regional or municipal by-laws that may cover you're area too.
