Meat cooler Ft. Nelson

hi everyone, I'm wondering if the meat cooler on the north side of ft . Nelson is still open for business?. I tried the number that I had from last year and its out of service. Any info on another cooler would be appreciated.

If you're thinking about the one on the old Alaska Highway, at about mile 303.5, then no.
The owner has passed away
have not heard of anyone with an open cooler this year, and those of us with our own coolers are not usually around to much in hunting season.

Thanks for the info RD, sorry to here the owner passed away. I'm sure it was the same one, on the right hand side heading north out of town. Looks like it is starting to cool down a bit up in the hills....hopefully a little more soon !
