Great pics. Looks like that one young trashy bull is legal. Good crop of bulls, the 7x6 is a keeper too. Hope that buck sticks around for you, hell of a buck.

Yea, that one has 2 stickers on the left, making him a 7x6 "technically". I'm hoping that doesn't matter too much as the plan is to have my old man take one during bow season so I can focus on that buck with the rifle.

great pics...thanks for sharing...... so here's one for you... what if those salt blocks are still around come hunting season and you happen upon this area and there's a big ol 7 point standin over the salt and you stick him with a pointy sitck ??? is that kosher?

I just ordered a couple of the same promos cameras you're using...how do you find them? These images are pretty great.....any tips from your experience with them?

The primos cam has always worked well for me. It's a little older (5 or 6 years) and its definitely bigger and heavier than the moultrie as it takes D batteries rather than AA's. I find that the cheap bulk no name batteries last just as long compared to the pricey name brand ones for what it's worth.

Perfectly legal. Make sure the stick is big enough that you can roast him over the fire immediately.

Another decent 5x4 is now hanging out with the big one, so I need to make sure I don't get buck fever and take him out. But he does have some nice mass on the bases. This is all assuming I'm fortunate enough to get a crack at either one. They are around every day or two during daylight so I may have to sacrifice some elk season time to sit in there.

Anyone else seeing the whitey's rub yet? Only saw one hard horned so far really close to town.
