My dad and I are going elk hunting in northern section of 7-42 in early September. Antler less and 3 point elk are available to hunt. We have never been up north and have some questions on what to pack. What is the accessibility, is there many back roads? Or quad trails? Where are some good places to go? Is there many elk? Any information would be greatly appreciated. My dad wants me to have great success since I am a junior hunter( 16 years old). We are not looking for the monster elk, we are just hoping to see some elk and maybe shoot one!
