My wife just chuckles when I go to the front steps and practice my elk calls.....I've had our resident doe stop and turn and actually started to move towards me the first time or two...haha

The wife,hunting partners and basically everyone I know is getting sick of me. I have maps and note books all over the place. Computer has been allocated to hunting related ventures and there have been various projects and shopping trips set aside for just my own personal hunting desires"masked as regular trips to places just to say""hey we should stop in there .... Since we're so close after all"". There's a count down for varying dates and a general family and friend agreement that I'm either crazy or close too. Either way I'm looking forward to this season and I hope everyone who has read this and is for the most part feeling the same way has a great one.
