questions regarding restricted atv use

my question is can i use the ATV before 530 to get to the hunting area and then park it and not use it till the appropraite time.


will be hunting bull moose in MU 7-08 sept 10-15. there is a atv ban from 530am till 9am

This is just my opinion but, If you are talking Sept 1-Sept 30 then I would say you are ok as long as you shut ATV off and unload by 5:30 am. I'm thinking that legal hunting begins 1 hr before sunrise and by that time of the year my Hunt Buddy BC says sinrise is 6:19. hensce one hour before sunrise is a5:19 and the closure appears to be rounded to the nearest 1/2 hr......IMHO

You're allowed to use the ATV before 0530. That's what people do in 7-11, 7-12 where I have hunted.

Yes, you must be parked before 05:30 am but it also means that you can't return before 09:00. We used to take a thermos of coffee and wait for legal shooting light and then return for breakfast after the legal time.
