Well being a Billy Hunter you certainly know what it takes. Good on you! It will come together one day as your hard work and dedication will perserverve.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for posting your story and great photos. Brings back lots of memories. Sad that only 2 rams had horns that broke the nose. Used to be lots of them. Must be a lot of arrows on that wall by now. Hope you get to go back and get your ram. Good on you to go traditional. Good luck.
You guys worked your tails off! Good stuff and good luck if you get back up there!!

That pretty much exactly sums up most hunts on Todagin. You'll keep going back until you get it done, I'm confident of that.
It's a great time just being close to sheep every day. Hard to believe that sometimes you can goes days without even seeing a ram other than bananas.

Great to hear there was some action on your hunt. Looks like a few good rams in that one picture. You give a guy a pile of confidence! I'm planning on going up there next year.

Hey NorBC , Thanks for the great story and super photos . Both brought back great memories of my past hunts there .
I remember passing on two particular Rams that when glassed for hours was 100% sure of full curl . When looking up at them when they passed by 20 yds caused second thoughts . Another was one of those tight full curls you mentioned and he watched me walk up to him to within 20 yds then finaly a good talkin too sent him on . In hind sight instead of talkin should have been launching . LOL .
By the way there is a nice Fossil area just out of view in one of your photos . PM if courious .
Cheers

Hey NorBC , just remembered about a fossilized Fang (tooth) found and so tired I placed on a tiny rock ledge where I would not forget it . Well damn it its still there and I didn`t forget it . It was around 2-2 1/2 long and curved too a very sharp point .
At my age with associated medical problems recovery is out of the question but often wonder if its still there .
Cheers
nice pics and thanks for sharing! the ram on the far right, last pic looks like it must be close to 8 years? somewhat heavier bases that carry through

Great determination and passion for going traditional on your first sheep hunt . . . took some of us six years to cut a tag using a rifle! ;)
Appreciated the InReach texts to make me feel part of the action. My heart was on that mountain with you boys . . . love that country.

10 hours from your door to sheep camp. Not bad :)
