Your first post asking for pictures of piles of dead wolves.... what do you expect?
Smells like an anti-hunter looking for faces and names for their hit list, from a mile away.
Tell us about you, how did you get into hunting? why so interested in hunting wolves especially?

Where'd you get that from? I looked up his name and found that he's Liked several German hunting pages, and has publicly shared photos of going gator hunting.

I think we're suffering from a touch too much paranoia, after Dr Whatsit and the lion, and the award-winning guide who's been charged with wildlife act offenses.

I mean, hey, point out where I'm wrong, but I think we were wrong about him actually.

Those photo's on his page are shared from another alligator hunting group. His page is covered in 100% big game hunting, nothing else, nothing personal of himself. He has 33 friends on facebook and all of them are big game hunters from all over the world with profile pictures of themselves with wolves, bears, lions. He follows a ton of hunting groups from all over the world as well. None of it connects to someone who actually hunts in a location, nothing local. He has posts asking for "pile" gator and wolf pictures on multiple groups and sites.

He's trolling for images like this, which he has saved on his facebook. http://s716.photobucket.com/user/gumboyaya_2009/media/gators1.jpg.html

This is no doubt an anti-hunting troll account used to gather controversial material on us.

Yikes! As a newcomer to this site, I am glad you guys had the insight to sniff this out. With blokes like that, it makes a new hunter cautious to engage online let alone in conversation - people like to judge you as soon as you identify yourself as a hunter.

In any case, I am forming the opinion that the real trophy is the adventure...then the meat...then the memories (not a pile like that baiter inferred).

Have to get my own senses working a little better so I don't get caught in this guys traps.

I think we all need to be more aware of any posts these days and in the future.

Glad I wasn't that guy in the States, with pictures floating around, holding those cats that way.
Just doesn't look right in my opinion...gives it that "macho" look for some reason.
I know why it is done, to show the size of the creature etc...but none the less, just what the anti's look for.
Sorry, don't mean to insult anyone who has posted pics like that...
But social media makes it harder to just stay amongst us hunters who understand it, from our perspective and thoughts.

Can be a sign of respect? I've seen it done with brown bears in Romania. Adding a little artist's touch to the picture of a harvested animal.

I think you may be correct. My Dad hunted boar and roe deer in Germany and with every animal they put down evergreen boughs were put in the animal's mouth as a sign of respect or to give thanks to the animal.

should i say wolves are ugly creatures?

I have no problem with hunt on them, i really love to see it.

now i cant say they are beautiful animans ? Why people use them as rug when they are so ugly?

They are beautiful animals and i love trophies of them ? Problem?

If people hate them, its okay but im from germany i dont have reasons to hate them..... (We dont have really wolves here)

im not a anti hunter, im for hunting animals ... why is that so hard to understand that?

With a post like that, you're really sending up red flags....

If you are supposedly a completely different person than Lopa, why are you so offended that he was called out and banned as a troll? Nearly a whole year ago, I might add. Seemed quite odd to me too, that you would dig up an old post, claim you're another person, get friendly responses, then start attacking us and saying you don't feel welcome.

The balls in your court my friend, your stay here will be as enjoyable as you choose to make it, we have members here from a multitude of countries and walks of life. That said, if all your looking for is a fight, well, that can be arranged as well, your choice.

I would guess that's to cover up some of the blood in the snow in that pic

but that is Weidemanns heil, showing respect/thanks by giving the animal his last meal...I don't know for certain, but I believe it is only practiced with hooved animals, not so much wolves

that is so stupid

i mean when i need pictures of something i google it and found alot.

when i cant find in english then i use a other language

im not sure how you can get in america a hunt licence, but in germany its not really easy and cheap

You get only one when you are a "Hunter" you must pay 1400 to 1800 Euro and you must finish a test
