Hi all,

This Fall will be my first foray into the field with the Lee-Enfield Rifle No. 4 Mk 1 that my grandfather carried onto the beach in Normandy on D-Day. It was used as a ranch gun for many years, and from what I'm told it brought home many deer. That, however, was several years back so I'm cleaning it up before sighting it in for the Fall. I may just opt to take it to Del Selin for a thorough cleaning to get a good baseline and then take over the maintenance cleaning after that.

In addition to cleaning it up, I'm also looking for information on the scope it has mounted on it. The only markings I can see are 'Weaver 1"' and 'Red Ram 4x32'. (I didn't think to just take a couple pictures of the scope markings, but they were pretty simple.)

I ran those keywords through the googleplex and got a link to Weaver Optics (http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/riflescopes/), and looked through their collection of rifle scopes. However, I found no mention of Red Ram (except for the sudden rash of Dodge trucks for sale at bargain prices (http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?119429-quot-Death-Wobble-quot-Dodge-truck-buyback-in-the-US)), and none of their current scope models in any of their series is a fixed 4x32.

Does anyone know any more about this scope than I've been able to find so far? Ultimately, I'd like to locate a manual, although that's maybe a bit optimistic. In the meantime, if anyone knows this scope, any information would be welcome.

(At this point I'm cleaning, not upgrading, for this year so suggestions of "You should get a [insert scope here]" aren't what I'm looking for. :) Upgrades will come next year.)
