3-26 Mulies and Whitetails?

Talking to an acquaintance at a big birthday party/ music jam session on the weekend he indicated that he owns 50 acres on the north side of Highway 97 between Monte Lake and Falkland and that I may come visit and hunt any time. Says he's bordering on crown land too.

I generally like to hunt mule deer in the any buck season in October. Even though I have attempted it several times, I have never in 45 years of hunting even seen a whitetail buck. I understand both species are around there.

When is the prime time hunt the whitetails? Is their rut approximately around the same time as mule deer?

Any tips you may have for hunting 3-26?

ive hunted this area for the last few years and was showed around by a seasoned hunter, whitetails are in pockets but there are good bucks around if you can find them, whitetails rut in middle of November to third week and mule deer rut first week of November, I have a doe mule deer draw for this region looking to get my two mulies out of that area. goodluck hunting hoping for snow early
