Tree stands ?

I'd like some advice on tree stands. My buddy and I have found a new spot that could have a lot of potential for a tree stand. I don't hear of a lot of guys using 'em around here (southern B.C.). Most of the ones I here about are the ones the guys on all the wild tv are plugging. If anyone out there can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated (price, durability, usability etc).
